Hailey Husband of the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation will tell us all about the Idaho City Backcountry Yurt system and renting yurts year round. She’s excited to share all the programs that are part of the non-motorized trail program, including Park N Ski, and more.

Hailey received her B.S. in Environmental Studies from Westminster College. Previously her professional career included working with the USFS and the Idaho Conservation Corps. She now works as the Non-Motorized Trails Program Coordinator for the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation. Her love for fly fishing, backpacking, and skiing fuel her excitement about conserving Idaho’s public lands. 

Zane Patterson, Idaho City Backcountry Yurt Ranger, will be a guest speaker also.
