Laird J. Lucas, founder of Advocates for the West, will speak at the Mountain West October 7 meeting at the Idaho Fish & Game headquarters building in Boise.
Advocates for the West is a public interest, nonprofit environmental law firm that protects and defends the West’s public lands, water, fish, and wildlife. Based in Boise and with staff in Oregon, Colorado, and Montana, Advocates for the West has helped protect many of the places that Mountain West members explore and enjoy.
You are invited to hear how they do it and how you can help. Note: Fish & Game meeting rooms are separate from the main entrance. If facing the main entrance (600 S. Walnut Street), the meeting room door is on the right side of the building facing south. A club member will be tending that door to admit attendees from 6:30-7 pm. (Arrive early or on time to be assured you can get in.) A short club business meeting will be held at 7 p.m., followed by Mr. Lucas’ talk.
Officers will hold an administrative meeting at 6 pm at the same site. Members are welcome to attend.
